Only God can give you a spiritually mature spouse. If You Are After Something Only God Can Give You So here are 4 signs the Lord is saying, “All you need to do is trust my plan and timing.”ġ. Pray and wait for the Lord.Sometimes God will say, “Get to work! Stop waiting! You need to take these steps I’ve told you to take and then I will do what you want me to do.”Īt other times, however, you will have done what you can and the Lord will be telling you to just have faith and to wait. Trust in His plan and that He is working out everything for good in your life. Humble yourself and praise God that He is in control. Reflect on past times that God has remained steadfast and supplied all your needs in periods of waiting, and give Him praise. While God does not always answer in the timing and manner we want, persistent prayer leads to more fruitful things than you could ever imagine. If our prayers we were answered quickly, we most likely would not notice or praise God’s divine work. “Wait for the Lord be strong and courageous. Like I said before, I always want God to tell me right in that instance what His plans are. When you want to throw in the towel because you are not getting the answer you are searching for, prayer is probably the last thing you want to do. He is working out the plan, the next step, even though you might not know all the details right away. So much so that more often than not I begin to doubt God and question if He is even there listening to my prayers. The purpose is to make a believer mature and complete, meaning God wants us to be actively participating in the work He has for us. With endurance, we see that this isn’t a time that we can just sit around and wait for an answer. The joy in which we endure trial is a sign of our hope in God. ![]() But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4. ![]() “Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. He calls us to wait patiently on Him while He prepares us for the next step. God uses times of waiting to allow us to demonstrate our obedience and faith. Waiting can bring out our impatience, worry, discouragement, and lack of trust in God. Rather than taking matters into our hands, we should wait patiently for God to answer. Throughout the Bible, you see countless examples of God’s faithfulness and love displayed for those who believe in Him. “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19. Waiting periods are used to show God’s faithfulness. The Importance of Waiting on God’s Timing Before God makes His out of this world move, we are called to wait on God’s timing. My God will hear me.” Micah 7:7.īut God doesn’t make you wait out of spite but in His purpose for all things. “But I will look to the Lord I will wait for the God of my salvation. The anticipation makes me want to scream “Tell Me!” Tell Me Now!” If you are at all like me, I HATE waiting. We push forward, move forward, and often forget God exists along the way. Our natural tendencies are to rebel against waiting and find other ways to get what we want. We deserve everything we could ever want. The world tells us everything that we could ever want is at our fingertips. As time moves on, so do you, wondering if God will ever answer.
